Get Hooked

Looking for a pleasurable outdoor pursuit at a friendly local club then come down to Wigginton Bowling Club. No previous skill required.

  • We welcome beginners and seasoned bowlers alike and we can even lend newcomers a set of woods to see if they like the game – all that is needed are a pair of flat soled shoes, which can also be borrowed.

  • There is no joining fee. The adult playing membership age 26+ is £100 flat fee ,£50 for the age group 18 to 25 (free to juniors under 18 who are VERY welcome) and you can play as often as you like.

  • The green is open every day from Saturday 6th April to Saturday 14th September for social bowling and league matches.

  • The club holds scheduled bowls drives and club competitions throughout the year for members. The more experienced players can take part in competitive league matches both home and away in the York, North and East Yorkshire areas.

  • Why not take the opportunity of a month’s free trial membership.
